Primary One Registration

All parents are worrying about their child primary one registration. Some parents are well prepared and others may be nervous. Including me, we have already talking about our children primary school 2 years ago, when Vera was 2 years old. Now she is four, we have another 2 years to pray about it.

No more cane!

There is no more cane in our house. We have throw away after HX attended the Good Father Course. We almost give up and buy new cane coz Vera has driven us crazy. She was untolerable and misbehave always. The most untolerable action from her is she bullied her brother like push, beat, bit him. We talked to her many times, punished her to kneel on the floor also no use. We always pray that she can quickly grow up and understand that it is not right to do so. Recently, she has changed quite a lot. I notice that we seldom punish or scold her because she misbehave..she is able to control herself which we always remind her to. To our surprise, the little boy pick up all the bad habits from her. Now, another round of guiding, teaching and nagging. Thank God that I only have 2 children..haa..haa..

Circumcision!

Josiah got infection regularly last month. So, we decided to send him for circumcision. It was done on 26 Apr 10 at KK Hospital. He was put with GA at around 11.30am. The Day Surgery was about 40 minutes. He was in pain when we were still in hospital waiting for him to pee and monitoring. He was discharged at around 3.30pm. Very tiring hospital visit to me..worst than working in the office.

He can't wear diaper/underwear/short. We gave him his sister T-shirt but found that the cloth will rub his penis and he will feel pain. So, in the end he is wearing his own shirt with revealing his private part..haa..haa..

Yesterday was 4th day after the surgery. He has to soak in salt water. Thank God that he enjoysed the soaking a lot. The next review is on 5 May 10.

Purchased New Yamaha U1!

I can't believe that we have just bought a brand new Yamaha U1 at the Piano Fair at Suntec just now. It was a good deal, $8,500 with 4 tunnings, 1 storage chair, 1 adjustable chair, 1 half length cover and free deliery. This is an exam model and should be able to last our family for 20-30 years. If not Piano Fair price, its original is $9,850 with 2 tunnings, without adjustable chair and cover. It is 6 years manufactured warrantya nd 1 year labor warranty. Don't really quite understand how it works.

Delivery is in end May 10, but I think it should be in Jun 10. We have compared used U1 with new one. We found that to buy new one with 24 months installment actually is not that painful. Anyway, we have lost quite a few of U1 through our failed investments in the past years. HX said that invest in children education is definitely more worthwhile. Must pray hard to we can afford to get a good teacher to nurture their interest in piano. Nevertheless, I will enjoy playing it very much since now I am quite good in reading note and playing melody.

Vera sick for 3 weeks

She got fever daily at 5-6pm. We gave her medicine daily but the condition still didn't improve after one week. Suddenly she was down with Stomach flu. Vomitted for whole day on 18 Mar 10. I took 2 days MC at home. Work from home to settle the office shifting request too. Dr gave her antibiotic on 19 Mar 10.



We went Genting but she had fever and sore throut when we were there. Nevertheless, the trip was exciting and enjoyable to both of the kids. But, I gave her Strepsils coz the label states it is safe for children. She got rashes after about 2 hours. I didn't know and thought that it was measles. Sent her to doctor on 3 Apr 10. Dr said it was not measles but could be drug allergy. The whole of the following week, she didn't go to school even though she was much better after 3rd day.

My turn to get sick since 9 Apr 10. Cough and sore throut. Self medication for 2 days but no improvement. Finally went to polyclinic to see doctor. At the same time brought wei wei to get referrer letter to KK for minor surgery. MC on 12 Apr 10. After one week of medication, I am still coughing badly especially mid night. Phlem stuck on throut and very irritating.
